WET BLUE HIDES CONTRACT TANNING FLESH SPLITS HAIR-ON HIDES

WET BLUE HIDES

Our hides are sourced from UK and Irish licensed abattoirs and processed under strict environmental guidelines.

Hides are 100% machine pulled and sold as 90% clear 10% cuts. Selection is tannery run with rejects taken out (TRRO).

The tannage medium is basic chromium (III) Sulphate and the hides can be supplied in a sammed or unsammed state.

Our tanned hides are widely used in the production of upholstery (both domestic and automotive), footwear and other leather goods.

All Wet Blue is tested to pass the ‘Boil Test’

End of tannage pH 3.8 - 4.2

All product contains antimould - TCMTB/ Sodium Chloromethylphenol

We do not use chemicals listed in REACH Annex 1, Candidate list for SVHC

CONTRACT TANNING

We also offer a contract tanning service for customer own sourced hides, as with our own tanned hides these can be supplied in a sammed or unsammed state.

HAIR ON HIDES

In partnership with a leather retanner/finisher we can offer a tannage service for hair-on hides

NOTE: Any hides supplied for hair on tannage must be suitably cured, as this curing process is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the hair no guarantee can be given regarding hair loss
